Re: Education Scotland wants Gaelic taught ...

Tha mise ga thuigsinn gun thrioblaid: bha "leaders" sna pàipearan-naidheachd làn seantansan dhen leithid aig àm nan Co-mhaoinich. Tha e furasta ma tha thu eòlach air an dual-chainnt. Mar eisimpleir, dh'faodadh "The Gaelic Language Plan is part of our Corporate Plan and helps exemplify how Gaelic bec...

"sa Sheacais"? Cuimhnich: "as t-samhradh" amsaa: "san t-Seacais". Murt, bu chòir dhomh a bhith cleachdte ri dòigh an t-sèimheachaidh seo. :naire: Chan eil mi cinnteach a tha mi air freagairt a chur don cheist agad ach tha mi 'n dòchas gum bi seo cuideachail. Thig Beurla gun oidhirp. 'S dòcha gu bheil diofar eile ann cuideachd, chan eil fhios agam. A bheil cuspair "Litreachas" ann an sgoiltean Albannach? Cha robh ann an sgoiltean Seacach, chaidh litreachas (an dà chuid litreachas Seacach agus litreachas na cruinne) a theagasg sna leasanan air a bha "Sea...

Well I meant it as "more [of] learning", but you're right, I should have read the initial post with "can learn more".

You seem to be mistaking the noun "beagan" (a little, a bit) for the adjective "beag" (little, small).

beagan + (genitive) Gàidhlig
a bit of + Gaelic

'S toil leam sin! Tha "Asterix ym Mhrydain" agam - leabhar sgoinneil sa Chuimris agus annsa tha a h-uile Ceilt à (an-diugh) Sasainn a' bruidhinn sa Chuimris mar a dh'fheuchadh Sasannach Cuimris fhuaimneachadh. Mar eisimpleir "Y Thlawen Faedd" seach "Y Baedd Llawen". (An Torc Toilichte) Tha e coltac...

Inntinneach, cha do bhuail e nam cheann riamh gur dòcha gum b' e sin a chiallaich e. Raineach ma tha? Agus dè mu dheidhinn Eanraig Each Mhaighstir Itealaig? Tha Lusaidh san t-Speur le Daoimeanan furasta ge-tà.

O Sheonaidh, nach eil fhios agad dè mu dheidhinn a tha nobhail Ghotach? Mar a thuirt caraid do Khurt Vonnegut, "Gabhaidh boireannach òg dreuchd ann an taigh sean agus cuirear eagal a mionaich oirre".
