Re: Whatever I Think of Next

Seo an t-eile dhuibh. Tha fios agam nach eil e ceart mar-tha, dh'fhaodadh "an bòrd" a bhith "am bòrd". Here's another for you. I know that it isn't correct already, "an bòrd" ought to be "am bòrd". https://v4s.yimg.com/so/7443/12644501855_b84a12b6b1_o.jpg Get off the table! You're not my real mum!

Whatever I Think of Next

Im trying to use Gaelic more when I think about things and I want to make sure I'm not leading myself astray with poor phrasing. I'll be posting in all my brains random glory! Today's installment: I left my phone in the car and on the way to get it I was grumbling the Gaelic and all the variations ...

Re: Building a Learning Game

I'm running into the same problem with time, GunChleoc. I've played Colin & Cumberland, neat concept but it doesn't look like anyone has kept up with them and parts don't seem to work anymore. The tr*nsl*t**n is a good idea though, I'll have to look. Otherwise I just need to start putting pieces tog...

I wanted something that would teach me words with practical value that I could use on a r...

Re: Dè tha thu a' dèanamh? / What are you doing?

Bha mi a' sgrìobhadh do Chaithream Ciùil air BBC Alba. Dh'iarr mi an t-ainm air òran.

I was writing to Caithream Ciùil of BBC Alba. I asked the name of a song.

I addressed my email to Chaithream, thinking it was the name of the woman, it's not, good thing I explained to her I'm still learning.
