A dhà (#2) - Dè as toil leibh?
Nach tric gu dearbh a thachras gur toil leinn rudegin a dheanamh, ach cha toil le ar caraidean sin... :gulach: Is toil leam snàmh cuideachd; agus bha mi leth-cheud bliadhna a dh'aois nuair a dh'ionnsaich mi snàmh meadhanach math. :) It's really often that we like to do something, but our friends do ...

typo in am faclair beag?
Oh... I've understand now. Sorry, I've mixed up all these things. Here, in wikipedia, there is The Blind Man and the Lame - the story about "the cripple sitting on the shoulders of the blind", the same fable as I've read in Russian. And so, "an dall air muin a' chrùbaich" is abou...

Oh, but is there in English such idiom as the cripple sitting on the shoulders of the blind?
I know such thing as the blind on the cripple (in Russian too), but I have not ever heard about them vice versa.
If such idiom exists, what is the sense of it?

Tha mi a' leughadh an fhòraim air a bheil "Город Переводчиков" san Ruisis (Baile-mòr nan Eadar-Theangadairean). Tha sin glè inntinneach; ach chan eil duine ann aig a bheil Gàidhlig. I'm reading the forum, wich is named "Город Переводчиков" in Russian (the City of Translators). It...

Tha sin glè inntinneach!
Cha b' aithne dhomh air an litir "IJ", cha robh mi eòlach oirre... Tha mi toilichte a coinneachadh a-nis.
It's very interesting!
I wasn't acquainted with the letter "IJ", I didn't know it (her)... I am glad to meet it (her) now.

Mòran taing, a Mhared! Tha mi fada nas fheàrr a-nis. Thèid mi dhan oifis agus obraichidh mi ann mar a b' àbhaist; tha sin car doirbh dhomh fhathast, ach cuidichidh mo charaidean dhomh gu mòr. I'm much better now. I go to the ofice and work there as usual; it's rather hard to me yet, but my friends h...

Mòran taing, a Ghunchleoc! Bha mi ag ionndrainn mo charaidean san fhòram seo cuideachd. I missed my friends in this forum too. Tha amharas agam gu bheil "brisgean-milis" a' ciallachadh biadh (sweetbread) a-mhàin. Chan eil mi cinnteach ge-tà. I suspect that "brisgean-milis" means ...

Bha mi ann an ospadal dà mhios bhon t-siathamh latha den Mhàrt gus an t-siathamh latha den Chèitean. Chan eil fios 'am ciamar a chanar "pancreatonecrosis" sa Ghàidhlig, ach b' e an galar sin a bha orm. Taing a Dhia, tha mi beò agus an ìre mhath ann an deagh shlàinte an-dràsta, ged a tha mi...
