Re Beag air bheag, Aonad 10
A bheil 'fidhle' agus 'fidheall' ionann?

Ann an Transcript 2,
Q: An toigh leat ... ?
A: Is toil. Is toigh leam ...
Carson toigh ... toil ... toigh ?

Mar an ceudna,
Q: Am bi thu ...?
A: Bithidh. Bídh mi ...
Tri cruthan?

Re Little by little, Unit 10
Are 'fidhle' and 'fidheall' identical in meaning?

In Transcript 2,
Q: Do you like ..?
A: Yes. I like ...
Why the two forms?

Similarly bi, bith, bithidh -- 3 forms?

Any light shed on these would be appreciated.

fìdheall is in common case and fìdhle in genitive case. The only difference is their position in the sentence structure.

Carson toigh ... toil ... toigh ?
This is a spelling variation. toigh is the older and more correct form, toil is what GOC tells us to use (and results in learner pronunciation errors with the vowel - it took me 10 years to notice, and I'm still trying to get rid of that one...). Since toigh is usually followed by leam/leat/le etc, some people just started adding the l to the end of toigh: toigh l' => toil.

Tri cruthan?
bi: dependent form (after question words, cha etc.)
bithidh, bidh: both are the indepentent form (nothing in front of it). bithidh is emphasized and 2 syllables long. bidh is not emphasized and 1 syllable long.
