Saying the date in Gaelic

Unread post by Marie THOW »

Hello,
I know the number (aon..), the names of the days (diluain..) , of the months (Am Faoilteach..) but I've never learn to say in gaelic : we are the 26th of september for exemple, I've search on the internet (and in my books) but I didn't find.
Thank you for your help.

There are 2 ways to say 26th of September:

Conservative: an siathamh latha ar fhichead dhen t-Sultain
Modern school system: am ficheadamh latha 's a sia dhen t-Sultain

Here is why
Oileanach chànan chuthachail
Na dealbhan agam
