Ma bi ceist agam mar seo:
A bheil thu air leabhar a leughadh?
Am biodh mi a' freagairt "tha/chan eil" no "leugh/cha do leugh"?

An gnìomhair as fhaisge air a' cheisteachan an/a i.e.
A bheil thu air leabhar a leughadh?
» Tha/Chan eil
Chan eil leughadh 'na ghnìomhair co-dhiù, 's e verbal noun a th' ann. Gu math faisg air a' Bheurla
Did you read a book? » I did

Consider also English, where you can do a similar "no yes/no" thing.
Have you read the book? I have.
Were you reading the book? I was.
Did you read the book? I did.
It's always that first thing that matters.
