I'm trying to tr*nsl*t* the phrase: "They watch over from Heaven"
As of right now I have : "Tha 'd ri faire o Nèamh"
I feel as if this could be improved, I would like it to be as idiomatic as possible If anyone could help it would be appreciated!

And what does this " 'd " mean?

It is for a t*tt**. half "Family lasts forever" will be in slovene my mothers native language and the other half "they watch over from heaven" in my fathers native language Gàidhlig. Both my mother and father have passed and it is in rememberance.

Well if it's for a t*tt**, I'd really suggest speaking to a professional tr*nsl*t*r -- preferably a native speaker -- rather than relying on the opinions of a bunch of happy amateurs on a free forum....

I agree with Níall. In this case, an expression using treòrachadh, dìon or cùmadh sùil air might be a better than faire. I don't know which one to pick though.
