<Bumping an old thread - sorry but this is a great one for a beginner!>

Tha e leth-uair an dèidh a h-aon. Tha mi anns an oifis ach chan eil me ag ober idir! :o
It is half past one. I am in the office but I am not working at all.

EDIT (which makes my time wrong):
I am a bit confused with the use of the article. In the old 1970's TV show, Can Seo, they use 'a' (or a h-) when you say the hour without 'uair' as above but this is not the case in Beag air bheag, where they don't seem to (so I guess they would say: Tha e leth-uair an dèidh aon). Is this an optional dialect thing or perhaps a modernisation?

Some people lke to stick "a h-" in front of vowels in some contructions, so I guess it doesn't matter much.

... chan eil mi ag obair idir

Tha e trì mionaidean gu ceithir.
