[Wilsons-of-Oxford]

Each morning I rise like the sun
And climb eagerly to the sky
Until I reach my limit and fall back to earth
Each day I climb the same path
Each day I come up short
What do I want from the sky

Bit depressing, I know. And difficult to put into Gàidhlig as well. I had to change some words and phrases but hope I got the gist.

A h-uile madainn éirich mi mar a' ghrian
Agus dìrich le  diogar mhor
Gu ruig mi mo fhior-iomall is tuit air ais an cruinne-cé
A h-uile latha dìrich mi astar ceudna
A h-uile latha ionndrainn mi mo cheann-uidhe
Dé iarr mi bhuithe an t-iarmailt?

Chunnaic mi an comhardadh an-seo: "cruinne-cé -- uidhe", tha sin math!

Tha mi den bheachd gur e rud mar chomhardach a tha ann an "Ghrian -- iarmailt" cuideachd.

Very good attempt at difficult subject matter.

I notice you probably haven't learned the Future tense yet - that's what Gaelic uses for habitual, regular activitiies, which is what you're describing.

the regular verbs form their future by adding -(a)idh to the root, so

èirich > èirichidh mi gach madainn
dìrich > dìrichidh mi
etc

The question form uses the root alone - an èirich mi? Will I rise?

and 'gus', until, takes the question form: gus an ruig mi ....tuit mi.... - until I reach....fall...

to come - thig, a' tighinn, is an irregular verb : the Future is
thig mi - I will come / I regularly come

Dè tha mi ag iarraidh air an iarmailt? *or "bhon iarmailt"
