I am sorry I haven't been writing more. I am travelling a lot right now, and conmaol seems to have gone underground
So, at last a new topic:
Dè a tha sibh ag ithe?
What are you eating?
Tha mi ag ithe buntàta is feòl.
I am eating potatoes and meat.
Bha mi ag ithe aran an-dè. Is toil leam aran.
Yesterday I was eating bread. I like bread.
Bidh mi ag ithe reòiteag a-màireach, oir tha a' ghrian ann!
I will be eating ice creamm tomorrow, because the sun is out!
Dè a tha sibh ag ithe? Dè as toil leibh ithe?
What are you eating? What do you like to eat?

I'm not eating anything. I am drinking white coffee (is that what you call coffee with milk?).

Chan eil mi ag ithe càil. Not sure if "white coffee" exists. "cofaidh le bainne" will do.
Bha mi ag ithe ceapaire agus orainds / Dh'ith mi ceapaire agus orainds. - I was eating..../I ate...
Dh'ith mise càl an-diugh
I
ate cabbage today

That's what I call it (technically, it's coffee with
almond milk
), but I thought I saw "white coffee" somewhere as "cofaidh geal".
Oh, well...

Bha dh`ith mi ceapaire agus orainds.
Dh'ith mi ceapaire agus orainds.
air neo
Bha mi 'g ithe ceapaire agus orainds.
but not both in the same sentence - unless you were being
really smart and were using
Bha as a filler word, in which case you need a comma i.e.
Bha, dh'ith mi...
Dh'ith mise aran air nòs na Gearmailte a dh'fhuin mi fhìn feasgar, le ìm is hama.
I ate German-style bread which I baked myself in the afternoon, with butter and ham.
