What are you eating?

Tha mi ag ithe buntàta is feòl.
I am eating potatoes and meat.

Bha mi ag ithe aran an-dè. Is toil leam aran.
Yesterday I was eating bread. I like bread.

Bidh mi ag ithe reòiteag a-màireach, oir tha a' ghrian ann!
I will be eating ice creamm tomorrow, because the sun is out!

Tha mi ag ithe chan eil càil. Tha mi ag òl cofaidh geal.

I'm not eating anything. I am drinking white coffee (is that what you call coffee with milk?).

Chan eil mi ag ithe càil. Not sure if "white coffee" exists. "cofaidh le bainne" will do.

That's what I call it (technically, it's coffee with almond milk ), but I thought I saw "white coffee" somewhere as "cofaidh geal". Oh, well...

but not both in the same sentence - unless you were being really smart and were using Bha as a filler word, in which case you need a comma i.e. Bha, dh'ith mi...
