This is a very good idea, so here we go. I figure having a separate thread would keep me from cluttering up Eowyns.

1. I am from .... (name of place)
Tha mi à Oxford, Sassan.

2. I am living in (place). It's in.... (country / state etc)
Tha mi à fuireach ann an Norfolk, Virginia. Tha e anns na SA.

3. Where are you living?
De à fuireach sibh?

4. That's interesting. Is it near the sea? - Yes /No.

Tha seo inntinneach. A bheil e faisg an mara? - 'S e./Chan e.

5. I'm learning Gaelic, but sometimes it's difficult.

Tha mi ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig ach tha e doirbh air uairibh.

6. I was in (place) in the summer.

Bha mi ann an Norfolk anns an Samhradh.

7. It was very big / pretty / small / cold / hot etc.

Bha e gle theth.

8. Where were you in the summer?
Càite bha thu anns an Samhradh?

9. I like (ice-cream / coffee etc)

'S toigh leam beucon.

10. I don't like .....
Cha toigh leam obair.

11. Do you like....? - Yes / No.
Bu toigh leat beucon? 'S e. Chan e.

12. I have a car (bike etc). Do you have a car (etc)? - Yes / No.

Tha an càr agam. A bheil an càr agad? Tha. Chan e.

13. My car is red(etc). It was cheap / expensive.

Tha an càr dubh-gorm. Bha e daor.

14. My car (etc) is in the garage (etc). Where is your car (etc)? - It's ...... (say where)

Tha an càr agam anns an slige. Càite bheil am bhàta agad? Tha an bàta agam anns an canail.

15. My brother has a dog. It's brown and white.

Tha an cù aig mo bràthair. Tha e donn is geal.

16. The dog's tail is very long.

Tha an earball glè fhada aig an cù.

17. My parents have two cats and three goldfishes. The cats are big and lazy.
Tha dà cait agus trì òr-iasg. Tha cait mòr is leisg.

18. Do you have a pet? - Yes / No
A bheil an peata agad?

19. Aren't pets nice? - Yes, usually.

Nach eil peatain snog? Tha, abhaist.

20. Now I have a sore head!
Tha an ceann goirt agam a-nis!

I had to look up some vocabulary but I feel like the grammar went well... that's not usually a good thing for me.

(A bheil e... ? >> Tha / Chan eil; An e... ? >> 'S e / Chan e)

7. glè; and if you mean the weather, it may be feminine: Bha i glè theth.

8. Càite an robh thu as t-Samhradh?
With "càite" we use the interrogative form: Càite a bheil / an robh / am bi

11. An toigh leat beucon? Is toigh / Cha toigh
OR: Would you like some bacon? -- Am bu toigh leat beucon? Bu toigh / Cha bu toigh

12. Tha càr agam (without definite article). A bheil càr agad? Tha. Chan eil.

13. Tha an càr agam dubh-gorm.

14. Càit' a bheil am bàta agad? Tha am bàta agam...

15. Tha cù aig mo bhràthair.

16. Tha earball a' choin (gen.) glè fhada.

17. dà chat (dual) agus trì òr-èisg (plural) aig mo phàrantan.
Tha na cait (plural and with the def. article) mòr...

18. A bheil peata agad / agaibh? (without article)
(An with the aritcle, it would be am peata)

19. am bitheantas / mar is trice (usually)

20. Tha mo cheann goirt a-nis!
