Maybe time to compile a list of Gaelic qualifications...?

So, to start:
  • High School level qualifications
    • SQA Standard Grade (Scotland)
      • Gaelic (learners)
        Gàidhlig (fluent speakers)
      SQA Higher (Scotland)
      • Gaelic (learners)
        Gàidhlig (fluent speakers)
    FE Colleges

    University level qualifications
    • Distance and part-time courses
      Full-time and residential courses
    Unaccredited or informal qualifications
    • Measadh Gàidhlig (An Chomunn Gàidhealach). An informal spoken assessment carried out at mods or by appointment at An Comunn's offices. Three levels of proficiency are awarded:
      • Bronze
        Silver
Gold (This level of attainment is required for entry into certain competitions at the mod.)

I have looked into doing a Higher by distance course, but to do them in England it's about £250 per unit! :mc: I have asked my school to look into it, they're going to get back to me after half-term.
