An Nollaig Òrain?

Unread post by Catrìona »

One Question currently the season:
I've searched the forum.
Are there any christmas songs/chorales in gaelic?
Something like "Jingle Bells" or such. Popular Songs, where you know the english text, maybe...
I couldn't find anything here...
I'm grateful for every tip. :D

Móran taing!
I think it will be easier for me if I learn Gaelic with games and songs too.

That's what my Gaidhlig class does! We learn songs like Fear a' bhata and play games like Robher dearg and read children's books anns a Gaidhlig

That's a good thing to do, because it puts the language in context insted of just memorising random phrases :)

There's a book to go with the CDs too, with quite a lot of the songs (16), including the sheet-music (with accompanimenzt) and the lyrics.
