Tha an càr agam anns a' gharaids. Càite bheil bhur càr? Tha e anns a' gharaids.


15. My brother has a dog. It's brown and white.
Tha cù aig mo bhràthair. Tha i donn agus geal. (duinne is the comparative form)

16. The dog's tail is very long.
tha Earball a'choin glè fada.

17. My prents have two cats and three goldfishes. The cats are big and lazy.
Tha dà chat is trì òr-èisg aig mo pàrantan. Tha na cait mòr agus leisg. (plural of iasg is èisg)

18. Do you have a pet? - Yes / No
Am bheil peata agad? - Do you want a stab at yes/no?

19. Aren't pets nice? - Yes, usually.
nach eil peatachan laghach?

20. Now I have a sore head!
Gabh mi cnuachd creuchd an-duigh. -> This means you took a wound to your forehead. Better: Tha an ceann goirt orm a-nis (illnesses are always "on" you in Gaelic)

Hello again, so i've been away for a while and unfortunately i can't continue my Gaelic lessons anymore due to time constraints :( So, i'll see if i can motivate myself to do some self-study. I hope nobody minds if i try and re-do this to get some practice :)

1. I am from .... (name of place)
Tha mi à Malaig.

2. I am living in (place). It's in.... (country / state etc)
Tha mi a' fuireach ann an Cill Rimhann. Tha e ann am Fiobha

3. Where are you living?
Caite a' bheil thu a' fuireach?

4. That's interesting. Is it near the sea? - Yes /No.
Tha sin inntinneach. Am bheil e faisg air a' mhuir?

5. I'm learning Gaelic, but sometimes it's difficult.
Tha mi ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig, ach 's doirbh air uairean.

6. I was in (place) in the summer.
Bha mi ann an Florida ann an t-samhradh. Chaidh sinn gu stiùideosan uileach!

I left a couple that I had no idea about. Please correct all the mistakes I'm sure to have made - tell me what I did wrong and how to fix it.

4. A bheil (am bheil is outdated spelling)
5. tha e doirbh uaireannan (adjective follows => tha)
6. ann am Florida (f follows), anns an t-samhradh (article follows), Stiùideosan Uileach (it's a name! :priob: )
7. Bha e (past tense), glè bhrèagha
8. Càite, anns an t-samhradh?
9. Is toil leam
10. Cha toil leam
12. A bheil, o chionn, dà sheachdainean (two lenites and singular follows)
13. mo càr - an càr agam, Chan eil fios agam dè a' phrìs a tha aige. Cha rinn mi ceannaich e. - cha do cheannaich mi e
14. an càr agam, càit, an càr agaibh
15. mo bhràthair (mo, do, and a=his lenite, a=her and the rest don't)
17. trì òr-èisg, leisg

20. Tha goirt cnuachd agam - tha ceann goirt orm; I don't know whether cnuachd is still used.

Thanks for the corrections, i've had a look and thet mostly seem logical. One thing i'd like to ask is the difference between 'mo' and then e.g. 'an càr agam' why can't i just say 'mo càr' ? I was under the impression that mo is general possessive word. Just like my in english, but it now seems like it's more relational as opposed to possessive? e.g. if i say 'mo dheuchainn' it is because it was the test that i took, rather than the test in my possession. is this correct?
Please check my Gaelic for mistakes :)
