Duilich nach robh mi air loidhne. Tha mi an dòchas gun robh Nollaig mhath agaibh uile!

Sorry I wasn't online. I hope you all had a good Christmas!

Bha mi a' dol ag ràdh sin an seo, ach bha thu nas luaithe na mise!

Not entirely sure about the a' dol ag ràdh structure, I don't use these often enough. Might be a' dol a ràdh

Seadh, tha mi den bheachd gur e "a' dol a ràdh" a tha ann: a' dol -- where? -- to=do/a ràdh.

..a' dol a ràdh

After a' dol, a' tighinn, a' falbh etc (verbs of movement) where you are implying 'purpose', i.e. going somewhere to do something, you use the lenited verbal noun with 'a' before it. If there's an object it somes after that, i.e. no inversion. If it's a definite noun ('the'), it is (officially) in the genitive.

Tha mi a' dol a dhunadh an dorais.
Tha mi a' tighinn a dh'fhosgladh na h-uinneige.
