i'm new to the forum and I'm a complete beginner. I've had some lessons on singing traditional Scots Gaelic songs. I'm thinking about changing our band's names. The initials of our current name are CF, and it would be great to keep them. Words that I've been playing with have to do with music, tunes, songs, friends, and the adjective "fine" pertaining to music, etc., and perhaps other adjectives pertainig to friends, campanions, or friendship, or good times.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I can look up words but I have no knowledge of grammar.

Many thanks!

You could make a suggestion and we can look at the grammar for you then :)

Note that the order of nouns and adjectives is reversed.

The C would lend itself to ceòl - music, and an adjective with F following it.

What about fighte - woven?
Or fillte - entwined, folded, layered?
falaichte - hidden, secret?

No idea if any of these suits your performing style.
