curiosity in gaelic

Hello
I've been having difficulty talking about "curiosity". I can talk around it and that does for the most part, but still feels a bit too indirect. I took a look in am faclair beag and see annas and there's also feòrachas. I spoke to an older native speaker who couldn't recall the word or its usage so thought I'd open it up for discussion.
He's naturally curious
Babies a curious
I'm asking out of curiosity
People's curiosity with Gaelic ... blah blah
It's a curious thing, which I'd express with annasach without thinking. Perhaps these ideas are expressed with annas and that's just that. Any good idiom or guidance for these ideas or your own?
Cheers
