Jobs in Isle of Lewis

I'm a Canadian Business Administration student and in this past August (2013) I stayed a week in Lewis with my Gaidhlig class. Had an amazing time, and I'd like to live in Lewis when I'm done college in 2015. Does anyone know of any sources where I can look for professional careers in Lewis? Also a ...

Re: A journey to Lewis and Harris

During your journey you should try to stop in Orinsay, South Lochs, Lewis and see if you can walk over the moore and down to Steimreway, the abandoned village! I went there this past August, had a blast! Stayed with a family in Orinsay, great people. You'll love it.

Re: Taibhs agus an da shealladh

I'm not sure if this counts as the second sight but, When my brother was 8 and i was about 6, we shared a room, and during the middle of the night i woke up and heard him saying okay and I thought he was sleep talking, but the next morning he was feeling quite sick and he said he woke up that night ...

Taibhs agus an da shealladh

My Gaighlig teacher did a lesson on the second sight yesterday and today and he has a book called The Gaelic Other world with a bunch of pretty neat stories of the second sight etc. Do you you guys believe in the second sight and do any of you have it? Share some stories of any second sight things, ...

I tried to make an account on here but for some reason it won't work. It says my username can't be found. Would you mind trying to find out for me?

I think it will be easier for me if I learn Gaelic with games and songs too.
That's what my Gaidhlig class does! We learn songs like Fear a' bhata and play games like Robher dearg and read children's books anns a Gaidhlig

can you identify this song

I'm an intermediate Scottish Gaidhlig speaker from Canada, going to Lewis in August. I came across an Irish gaelic song that I'd like to know the name of, can anyone see if they know it? The teacher of my Gaelic class doesn't know, but I really like it and want to know what its called. http://www.yo...
