The Scottish Gaelic in 12 Weeks book is now available. (We have had in for sale in Mull for the last few days.)
Unfortunately the CD has been delayed until March 2009.

So far the publishers have approached people who have been recommended to them. I don't know whether they will advertise.

No, they're waiting for the CD. And then will launch the book on its own (RSP £9.99) and the book/CD pack (RSP £14.99) at the same time.

The book is now ready, but they are still trying to find someone to do the recordings for the CD. So far, everyone they have asked either says no or is too busy to do the recordings straight away.

The hold-up is apparently due to major delays with the final proof-reading. They are still waiting, and can't go to print until it has been properly proof-read.

I was told by the publishers that Gaelic in 12 Weeks is basically a new updated version of Gaelic in 3 Months.
