Saoilidh mi gu bheil :D

Mholainn gun dèan thu barrachd obair air buaidh-astair nan gàirdeanan co-dhiù - tha coltas ro thiugh air an fhear sa chùlaibh an taca ris an fhear sa bheulaibh.

Re: Audio recording Teach Yourself Gaelic (R.Mackinnon)

For the audio files, you'd have to use an audio upload site to host, e.g. Soundcloud. The best way to get your pronunciation corrected would be to find an online class though. You could try one of these: https://gaeliccollege.edu/learn/online-learning/aga-online-learning/ http://www.smo.uhi.ac.uk/en...

Re: Audio recording Teach Yourself Gaelic (R.Mackinnon)

I have limited webspace, so I have never anabled the attachment function. So, you'd have to host the images somewhere else and then link them.

I have an old edition of teach yourself Gaelic with an audio cassette. Send me a PM if you want it and we'll figure out how to get it to you.

Re: a' rocking and a' rolling

I can't tell - I'd need them in context, since I'm not familiar with them. I do know one that's similar though: cha b' e ruith ach leum. You can find some examples in the Faclair Beag.

Re: Writing/speaking a bit of Gaelic, any feedback/corrections appreciated

No, it's a spelling thing. toil (noun) is pronounced /tɔl/ toigh (adjective) is pronounced /tɤj/ and used in the expression An toigh leat... 's toigh l' So, when you say "Is toil leam", you should still pronounce it /tɤl/, but the spelling suggests that it should be pronounced /tɔl/ which is wrong. ...
