Much appreciated that you've taken the time to look. I've changed the image, to show each word straight on. The main reason I thought it might be Gaelic is because of the font style - in the third word are they "o" or Gaelic "d"?? Many thanks again.

Is this Gaelic?

My apologies in advance if this is not the right place to ask this question. I have a large brass plaque with a Coat of Arms and a motto or phrase that appears to be written in Gaelic.
