Re: Duolingo phrases :)

cus + noun in the genitive, or cus + dhen + noun in the dative.

I ate too much cake - Dh'ith mi cus cèice
I ate too much of that cake - Dh'ith mi cus dhen chèic sin

Re: matamataig---àireamheachd

My brain understands "Am fuirich thu an-seo?" as "Will you stay here", and not as "Do you live/stay here?" at all.

Re: Seòlta Gaelic / Newswatch on Gab

Tha seo inntinneach. Nach cuir thu a' Ghàidhlig air thoiseach na Beurla? Feumaich mi briogadh air "Read More" 2 thuras gu tric mus nochd an t-eadar-theangachadh agad.

It's just a creative suggestion, because you had "fuil*" twice in the same line.

Re: Help with a Sentence for a Poem I'm Writing

How about this:

An fhuil ghorm a’ fuileachadh -> a' dòrtadh

Also: dearg -> gu dearg (it's an adverb in this context)

Re: Words or names?

Some spelling mistakes... it will make more sense without them: Creag na h-uamha Creag an dùin An toll mòr... "nam" in this case is the genitive plural of the article, you can tr*nsl*t* it as "of the" here. I can't say much about the English transliterations, since English spelling is highly ambiguo...

Re: Cuideigin a ’faighneachd dhomh airson cuideachadh le abairt

Dhomh-sa dheth, tha coltas nas nàdarraiche air "Thig ar latha" sa cho-theacs seo. Ach bhiodh "Thèid an latha leinn" glè iomachaidh air latha cunntadh nam bhòt fhèin, mar eisimpleir.

Yep. "Tha fuar iad" is wrong, never use that.

What about "glè ghaothach fliuch"? It would clearly apply to both then
