Air Radio nan G., ach dìreach gus a-màireach, 's dòcha, oir bha am program air Diardaoin sa chaidh. Mar sin, èist a-rithist GU LUATH! Lorg is gliog air Program ' Sgailean ' anns an liosta, bhon 14 Lunastal; tha agallamh agus an t-òran direach aig deireadh a' phrògram: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radi...

Going by songs I know, I would say ' faileas ' fits the bill here. The shadow cast by something or someone. Faileas air an Airigh , by Runrig, is not the only one. Watson supports this: Laigh a faileas orm : her shadow fell on me. and compares: sgàil(e) as a 'shade' eg beneath the shade of a tree: f...

ann an seòmar air a bheil an Seòmar Righ Seumas

I would be inclined go for the genitive construction here, as used in compounds with proper names.

..ann an 'Seòmar Righ Sheorais'

cf:

Tha e aig Oilthigh Ghlaschu
Tha Fèis Dhùn Eideann ann an-dràsta

Gàidhlig air an teilebhisean Basque

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u8fO_qsGSU

6 mionaidean, Beurla agus Gàidhlig le fo-tiotalan Basque, clann às a' bhun-sgòil G. Inbhir-Nis . Rud beag aon-ghuthach, ach co-dhiù. Basque telly, rud eadar-dhealaichte. :D

'Far' is unlike the other conjunctions/relative pronouns, which DO tale the relative/independent, because it runs parallel to 'Càite`. That makes it easier to remember. :D Càit am bi thu a-maireach? Bidh mi far am bi mi an-còmhnaidh - aig m' obair! Cuin a bhios tu ann? Bidh mi ann nuair a bhios am b...

Fàilte bhuamsa cuideachd! :D Bidh e glè mhath Gàidhlig nàdarrach (is Leòdhasach :D ) a chluinntinn an seo! Tha sinn taingeul gu dearbh nuair a bhios 'native speakers' a' bruidhinn rinn air a' bhòrd seo. Air neo tha sinn ann an cunnard a bhith a' fuireach anns an t-saoghal beag againn 'SMOG' no 'Gàid...

Sin thu fhèin, yellow-ceitidh, and Alasdair too. :D It's great to see you writing so much and trying things out - that's the way to make progress. There will be fewer and fewer mistakes as you learn more and 'pick up ' more en route. One little thing you both keep doing, though, is misusing 'ged'. '...

Well done so far! :D

By the way, the verbal noun of fosgail is fosgladh, another case of shortening, so the continuous forms are:

Tha mi a' fosgladh an doras.
Bidh mi a' fosgladh an doras.
