Thanks for that site - it fairly takes me back! :lol: Although I think our books, old though they probably were, were not quite that antiquated - don't recall all that hand sign stuff. I use sol-fa for making quick notations of tunes I hear before I forget them. Take each letter(note) as one beat. To halve the length, use a dot after the note, to double it, add a hyphen.
