The "dhuinn" belongs to "ionnsaich". "ionnsaich" = "learn", "ionnsaich do" = teach. So, it can't be left out. The "a" is part of the vocative case and is needed also: http://www.akerbeltz.org/index.php?title=Masculine_nouns#Proper_nouns &qu...

Re: Name for a farm space
I have been thinking... how about:
Comann an àiteachais - The farming society
Comann àiteachas <cityname> - The <cityname> farming society
If it's a Scottish city, let us know so we can give you the proper name in the genitive case

Re: Name for a farm space
Sorry it took me a while... here are some:
Croit baile / Tuathanas baile
Toradh na talmhainn
Anam-bhiadh
Cùram na talmhainn
They all contain sounds that the English language doesn't have, so I'm not up to the "easy to pronounce" challenge right now.

Re: Vocative or no?
The t- before vowels is used by nominative singular masculine only - it's actually a rare pattern. I have written an article on the forms grouped by sound pattern rather than the traditional "nominative singular masculine first" approach. Maybe looking at it from this different angle will ...

Re: Vocative or no?
Anndra starts with a vowel, so the a is dropped. Gaelic grammar depends on sounds a lot
Regarding the pronunciation, that sounds like dialectal variation to me.

Re: Genitive with verbal nouns
Well, this was me answering "yes" to "Would it be bad for learners to learn to form verbal noun constructions without the genitive, and then learn to do them "properly" a little down the line?" A mistake learned as "correct" is very hard to unlearn later on - ...
