I would like to check my words of a song I have written for a wedding, I know what I am trying to say but it would be nice to know that it is not complete nonsense! It goes like this-

Airson crannchur math
Gum mair sibh an saoghal ùr
Dà a-nis aon ann an gràdh agus gràs
Le caraiddean is teaghlach riut an-còmhnaidh
Faodaidh samhla a bhith a ‘meas gu bheil tòrr fortan ann
Siubhail tro, bheatha leis a seud, shoirbheachail fuaim

Hi John,

it looks pretty good over all, but there are some things in it that need fixing, especially in the last line.

Could you please provide an English version? This way we can make sure that it will say what you intended to say.

Oh thank you so much. Here is the English - rhyming intended as this is spoken as part of song.

For good luck
A long and happy life together

Two now one in love and grace
With friends and kin beside you always
A symbol to cherish, may good fortune abound
Travel through life with this talisman sound
