Seo obair eile agam (TYG, Aonad 20). Sgrìobhaidh mi tuilleadh ann an ùine gun a bhith fada, tha mi 'n dòchas :)

1. Bidh mi ag obair a h-uile latha bho DhiLuain gu DihAoine (mar as àbhaist)...
Agus dè am bi bhios thu a’ dèanamh a-màireach?
Dè nì mi a-màireach? Ma bhios an turadh ann thèid mi a-mach air cuairt, ach mura bi ma bhios an t-uisge ann bidh mi nam laighe air a’ chùiste a’ leughadh leabhar inntinneach.

2. Nach tig thu air chèilidh orm feasgair DiSathairne?
Tha dùil agam gun tig ma thèid agam air obair-taighe a chrìochnachadh. Glanaidh mi an taigh againne, nì mi dinnear don teaghlach agam agus nighidh mi mi fhìn, agus as dèidh sin isichidh saor-latha agamsa!

3. Thèid na nàbaidhean agam a dh’Inbhir Narann as t-Samhradh, oir a tha an càirdean a’ fuireach ann.
An tèid iad an sin san Iuchar? Cha tèid, thèid iad san t-Sultain nuair a bhios làithean-saora aca.

4. Cuin a thèid aig a’ chlann air a bhith modhail? An cluinn iad ma their thu gum feum iad a dhol a-steach air a’ mhionaid?
Tha mi den bheachd nach cluinn, mura h-èigh mi le guth mòr gu math...

5. Gheibh a mac an litir bhuaipe an-ath-sheachdain, nach fhaigh? Freagraidh e rithe a dh’aithghearr.

bhon DhiLuain -> bho DhiLuain
mura bi an t-uisge ann bidh mi nam laighe a’ leughadh leabhar inntinneach - are you sure? :D
thoisichidh -> tòisichidh
laithean-saora -> làithean-saora
mòdhail -> modhail

Cuin a thèid aig a’ chlann air a bhith mòdhail? - Chan eil mi ga thuigsinn - "When will the children be able to have been polite?"
an ath-sheachdain - according to current GOC either an-ath-sheachdain (the week after this one we're having) or an ath sheachdain (the week following some other week mentioned)
nach faigh -> nach fhaigh
Freagairidh -> Freagraidh

Mòran taing!
Seadh, 's urrainn dhomh gu dearbh cho mòran mhearachdan a dhèanamh san teacsa cho beag!

Mu dheidhinn an t-uisge: bha mi a' dol a sgrìobhadh 'if it'll be raining, I'll be lay (at home) reading an interesting book' -- but maybe I've got it wrong... An robh e coltach ris 'nam laighe san t-uisge'? :(

Mu dheidhinn na cloinne: When will the children be able to be polite? -- Bha mi den bheachd gu bheil 'air' dhìth orm airson na h-abairt 'thèid aig ... air'...

The problem is not with the rain or lying, but with the if-word: you used 'mura', which means 'if not' - If it isn't raining I'll be lying reading a book... Chan eil sinn a' creidsinn sin! :P

If you want 'if', it's ma (bhios)....

Though I would add where I was lying - lying on on the sofa etc. - bhiodh sin na bu nàdarra.

Obh-obh, bha mo smaointinn ro thoinnte -- too complicated! Seadh, bha fhios agam mu dheidhinn 'ma' agus 'mura', ach sgrìobh me dà chuid 'mura' agus 'an t-uisge'... :mc:
'S dòcha gum bi sin ceart cuideachd: "...agus air neo bidh mi nam laighe...", nach bi?

"...bidh mi nam laighe air a’ chùiste" -- a bheil sin ceart?

Nach coimhead duine sam bith air an dà fhiosan agam san duilleag seo chaidh?

Maybe somebody look at two my messages on the previous page, if it's worth reading?

Just looking at your last two messages - "air neo" = or, so the construction you have given is not really one you would want to use. The main issue as faoileag said is the use of "mura". Bidh mi nam laighe air a chùiste looks fine to me. Back at the start of your original message you wrote "dè am bi thu a' dèanamh...". When you use "dè", you need to use a form of the verb called the relative when you are using the future tense. So what you should write there is "dè bhios mi a' dèanamh...". If for example, you wanted to write "what will I wear", this would be "dè chuireas mi orm", literally "what will I put on me." It is worth noting in passing that the future tense of dèan "to do" does not have a relative form, so if you wanted to say "What will I do", you would use the independent form of the verb and say "Dè nì mi?". Sorry if this is complicated. Also, just at the end, where you write "dà fhiosan". Two in Gaelic is not plural. It takes a form called the dual, so that you would write "dà fhios". It lenites at the beginning of words which can be lenited, for example "two boys" is "dà bhalach".

Hope this is useful :-)

Mòran taing!

Cha robh mi cinnteach mu dheidhinn 'air neo'... Agus ciamar a chanas mi 'otherwise' (simly otherwise, without other particulars)?

Seadh, tha fhios agam mu dheidhinn 'dè bhios' agus 'dè nì', ach dhìochuimhnich mi e a-rithist!

Lorg mi seo:
Am Faclair Beag wrote:fiosan /fisan/
fir. gin. ┐ iol. -ain
message (in computing)
Mar sin, sgrìobh mi "dà fhiosan", ged a bha mi den bheachd gun robh e coltach ris an iomarra...

Bha dà fhiosan ceart a thaobh gràmair is cèill ach 's fhiach e sùil a thoirt air na mapaichean is rionnagan:

Chan eil ach dà rionnag aig fiosan ach tha trì aig brath agus teachdaireachd:

Agus air na mapaichean (briog aig an fhacal gorm le loidhne fodha), chì thu nach eil ach aon bhòt "passive knowledge" le neach-ionnsachaidh air choireigin aig fiosan:

Ach gu bheil teachdaireachd (mar eisimpleir) 'ga chleachdadh gu tric le iomadh duine

Glè mhath! Mar sin, bu chòir dhomh 'dà theachdaireachd' no 'dà bhrath' a sgrìobhadh, nach bu?

Feumaidh mi coimhead air rionnagan! Cha robh mi cinnteach mun deidhinn san fhìrinn...

Duilich - cha robh mi eòlach air an fhacal "fiosan" idir, agus bha mi a' smaoineachadh gum b'e "fios" ann an ciall iomarra a bha air a chleachdadh - nì "dà bhrath" an gnothach.

Sheall mi a-rithist san Fhaclair Bheag: chan eil rionnag idir aig "b' àill leat?", mar eisimpleir...

Obh-obh, chan urrainn dhomh mapaichean fhaicinn: Google do not let me see them!

Mura h-eil rionnag ann, is dòcha nach eil bhòt ann fhathast.

ron sin (ron a sin) - tha an dà chuid ceart. In formal writing, use the first.
