fuilich, a' fuileachadh is more what a doctor would do - draw blood, take blood from someone, i.e. used transitively.

If you don't like dòrtadh, what about sìl, a' sìleadh? Oooze, trickle, flow.

It's just a creative suggestion, because you had "fuil*" twice in the same line.
