A relative of a friend of mine has died recently and I'd like to wish him my condolences in Gaelic. I can't seem to find any phrases for this on the internet though. Any help would be appreciated.

tha co-fhaireachdainn agam riut
1 I feel for you, I sympathise with you 2 my condolences
tha mo cho-bhròn dhut 's do mhàthair air caochladh
I'm sorry for your loss, I'm sorry your mother has died
nas duilghe na ghabhas cur ann an cainnt
more sorry than I can say
Let us know which phrase you prefer, and which type of relative, and we can adjust it for you. Gaelic tends to be a bit more exact than English here, so e.g. for an uncle, we would need to know if he's on your friend's father's or mother's side.
