wich one is better?

(i'm really not familiar with Gàidhlig, so I don't understand the second answer. I'm pretty curious about this language (his history, his prononciation, his grammar, etc.), but i'm a beginner. Actually, I'm French from Québec, so english is my second language!)

C'est bien ça, oui. En passant, j'ai trouvé que le gaélique a en fait plusieurs similarités avec le français. Plus qu'avec l'anglais, au moins.

English mother tongue, French second language (I'm also from Montreal), and I'm actually just starting to learn Gàidhlig. Been at it only a week or so. Nevertheless, I'm finding more similarities with French than I am with English.

To learn grammar and vocabulary, which way seems better to you? Did you take lessons?

Yes, I'm still in Montreal. I haven't found any classes around here, so all my learning is being done online. I'm using TAIC for grammar/vocabulary, and Beag air Bheag for pronunciation.

Cool. Francophones learning Gaelic. My grandmother's first language is French and she ended up getting me to speak it despite me living in an anglophone city.

But there are less ways to lear it on my own because i'm Francophone!
Iit's harder to do it by a second language!!! But I'll do it

I found few french-gaelic dictionnaries, but still nothing for grammar.
We should start a group in Montreal for those who are learning gaelic.
Speaking it is the best way to do it!

But before coming here and put some words in gaelic, I have to study a little! I don't even know simple words as seasons, days, months, body parts.... So i'm gonna study for some weeks, learn a little more about the grammar (essential!) and after that, use a dictionary to try myself here!!!

Did you learn speaking before writing? I think i should learn writing before, no?

All have a nice day, so sunny here today! And i'm just coming back from my natal village in the north-east of Quebec!! I missed mountains and St-Lawrence River! It was great!
