Càit an deach sibh an-uiridh? [Where did you go last year?]

Sgrìobhaibh rudeigin anns a' Ghàidhlig neo anns a' Bheurla, neo anns a' Ghàidhlig agus a' Bheurla! [Write something in Gaelic or in English, or in a mix of Gaelic and English]. If you don't know how to say something, just ask.

Watch this to get some ideas -

Chaidh mi dhan Hearadh leis an teaghlach agam air saor-làithean. Bha sin as t-samhradh. Bha an t-sìde brèagha. [I went to Harris with my family on holiday. That was in the summer, and the weather was beautiful.]

Cha deach mi a-null thairis, ach aon turas do Lunnainn. [I didn't go abroad at all, except for one trip to London ;-]

Cha robh fhios agam gu bheil Dùn Èideann eile ann am Florida. A bheil e brèagha an-seo? [I didn't know there was another Edinburgh in Florida. Is it nice there?]

It is nice there. :) They're very proud of their Scottish heritage...that's where I started playing the bagpipes, too. :D

An dualachas Albhnach anns na Stàitean Aonaichte, pìobadairean agus msaa -- tha sin sgoinneil gu dearbh!

Cha deach mi a-null thairis cuideachd, cha deach mi fada bhon taigh agam idir.
Chaidh mi a bhaile bheag faisg air Dùn Pheadair (St-Petersburg) còmhla ri mo mhàthair as t-Samhradh.
Bha am baile seo thall thairis eadar naoi ceud deug ochd deug agus naoi ceud deug 's dà fhichead ged-tà.
B' e an tìr Fhionnlannach san àite seo, Terijoky.
Tha Zelenogorsk an t-ainm a tha air a-nis; tha e a' ciallachadh 'am baile gorm' (green town, because of trees etc, so I think gorm and not uaine, a bheil sin ceart?).

Chaidh mi a dh'Arcaibh an-uiridh. Chòrd na tursachan aig Brodgar rinn glan!
I went to Ornkey last year. We really liked the standing stones at Brodgar

Chaidh mi dha na Hearadh - I think

a Dhùn Èideann

An dualachas Albannach

Cha deach mi a-null thairis nas motha - you use cuideachd only for the positive sense. Or in a direct reply you could say:
Cha deach (a-null thairis) no mise

'S e Zelenogorsk an t-ainm a tha air a-nis

Saoilidh mi gu bheil "gorm" ceart. - I think "gorm" is correct.

Sgrìobh mi sin a-rithist a-rèir nan ceartachaidhean le GunChleoc:

Glè mhath! :D

Rud no dhà fhathast co-dhiù:

An dualachas Albannach ;)

Something else I overlooked:

Chaidh mi a bhaile beag - a/do only lenites the following word and doesn't reach beag

mòran chraobhan - mòran is a noun, so craobhan needs to be in the genitive

Obh-obh, tha mi a' faicinn gur e facal doirbh dhomh, an 'Albannach' seo!

Agus tha mi a' tuisleadh air an t-sèimheachadh gach uair no gach dàrna uair, tha mi a' smaoineachadh. :(

Ceartaichidh mi seo anns an àite shuas (???)

Tha bh aig an Albannach agad fhathast. Is dòcha nach toil leis thu ged a tha thu ag ionnsachadh an cànan aige? Abair droch isean!

Your Scotsman still has a bh. Maybe he doesn't like you, although you are learning his language? What a bad boy!

Chaidh mi fhèinn agus mo bhean gu Juniper Springs, roinn den Coille Nàiseanta Ocala. B e am mìos nam pòg a bh'ann. Bha an àm glè shònraichte, àm airson cuimhne ri togail.
Myself and my wife went to Altamont Springs, part of the Ocala National Forest. It was our honeymoon. The time was very special, time for memory to be built.
