Corra-ghritheach / Heron

Unread postby eideard » Tue Jun 17, 2008 3:57 pm

When I was walking beside the river, this morning, I saw a heron. A heron is a big bird; it stands in the shallow water and it catches frogs and minnows.

See them at parents cottage. Didn't know they were in Scotland too.

Scotland has no article... uill tha sin ceart (but it does in Welsh - Yr Alban), ach carson "Pàrlamaid NA H-Alba" (Parliament of THE Scotland)?

Tha mi duilich - nowt about herons here. Uill, bidh mi gan faicinn air am Forth gu tric, faisg air Burntisland (?An t-Eilean Losg) is Aberdour (Aberdŵr).
