69. Carson Eadailtis? Tha m' athair a' gluasad gu Naples an ath sheachdain. Cànan ràsanach co-dhiù.

70. Indeed. Italian is just Latin with more consonants, and Latin is a dead language for a good reason. But don't tell any Italian that I said that!

70. Gu dearbh. Cha ne ach Laiteann le tuilleadh connragan a th'anns an Eadailis, agus tha Laiteann na cànan marbh airson adhbhar math. Ach na innis do Eadaileach (???) sam bith gun tuairt mi sin.

71. At least Italian has only one declension and one less gender than Latin. It evolved that way for a reason, as it's far less complicated and easier to speak.

Am bitheadh Neopolitainis cho ràsanach dha? Cò dhiu, Naples? 'S e baile cruadalach, bu choir do d'athar a bhith cùramach an sin. Thàinig mòran doaine do Thoronto às an Eadailt dheasach agus thoir iad an lochd còmhla riutha.

71. Aig a' char as lugha nach eil ach aon tuisealadh agus aon gnè nas lugha na Laideann. Thàinig i gu bith mar sin a choinn i fada nas lugha toinnte agus nas fhasa a bhruidhinn.

72. That took a while. I need to practice!

74. An urrainn dhuit seinn ann an Eadailtis?

75. Yes. (With no understanding of what the words mean and if someone demonstrates first. A bit like your average Gaelic choir member.)
