Cold today, went out, no snow, but cold enough for it. Went across the street to the football pitch, was painful. Any snow over there in Scotland?

'buìr' saoilidh mi nach eil sin ro chùmanta b'fheàirrde dhut le 'ìosal'

Tha mi eòlach air cuideigin a tha builteach a ràdh, ' tha faileadh sneachd san adhair.'

bùir isn't very common, you'd be better with 'ìosal'

I know someone who is likely to say, 'tha faileadh sneachd san adhair'

Tha e cho fuar 's gu bheil faileadh sneachd san adhair?

Saoilidh mi gu bheil faileadh sneachd san adhair ann an Inbhir Narann an-diugh :)

Chan eil e a' cuir sneachd an-diugh. Fhuair uiread sneachda an deireadh sheachdainn sa chaidh. Ach tha i -22C. Caran fuar, dhiùlt an cù agam dhol a-mach air cuairt. Thug mi sùil air geàrr-cunntas na h-aimsir airson Juneau ann an 2007 agus bha e 0.5 C nas fhuaire nan àbhaist le 14 làithean le reòthadh os cionn na an àbhaist. Agus 's e bliadhna a bu shneachdaiche bho riamh. Ach a dh'aindeoin sin, leagh an eighr-shruth air ais 500 troimh!

No snow today. We got some snow last weekend. But it's -22C. Rather cold, my dog refused to go out for a walk. Don't blame her. I that a look at the climate summary for 2007 for Juneau. 0.5 C colder than normal, no surprise. 14 more days than normal with frost. Snowiest year on record. Oddly, in spite of that, the glacier here melted back 500 feet.

Tha i fliuch, tha i fuar, tha i sgòthach, tha i garbh. Chan eil i snog amm an Northampton.

It is wet, it is cold, it is cloudy, it is rough. It is not nice in Northampton.

It was snowing yesterday, but did not settle. Today, it is sunny but cold.

Bha an t-sneachd ann ;)

Bha an t-sneachd... = the snow was...

Bha an t-sneachd ann = There was snow

Cha do chreid mi gur e am facal ceart a th' ann "socraich".
I don't think "socraich" is the right word

Gabh air do shocair = be at ease

Ciamar a chanas sinn e? :smaoin:

I suspect I may have been overusing the dictionary....

Let's go back to basics: Tha i fuar! It is cold!

Dè mu dhéidhinn:

Cha do dh'fhuirich e

no

Cha do laigh e / cha robh e a' laighe?
