Bha moran sneachda an so air diciadain agus bha e gle cunnartach air an rathad a mach as a' bhaile agam ach tionndaidh e gu uisge trom re na h-oidhche. Bha uisge trom an de agus tha beagan uisge an so an diugh cuideach.

There was a lot of snow here on Wednesday and it was very dangerous on the road out of my village but it changed to heavy rain throughout the night. There was heavy rain yesterday and there is a little rain here today also.

Glè mhath! Dìreach rud no dhà:

mòran sneachd
glè chunnartach
a-mach às
thionndaidh e
cuideachd

note that "so" is spelled "seo" these days.

You should also learn how to put accents on vowels. Instructions are in the FAQ forum.

Uill, 's e car sgòthach an seo. Bha beagan uisge ann ach chan eil tuilleadh ann a-nise.

Well, it's a bit cloudy here. There was a little rain but it's stopped now.

Glè mhath! One thing though:

Tha e car sgòthach an seo.

'S e is only used with nouns.

Tha sin ceart gu leòr, chan ionnsaich thu cànan gun mearachd a dhèanamh.

That's alright, you don't learn a language without making mistakes.

Bha i fuar agus reòthte an-diugh, agus tha i gaothach a-nis. Tha mi ag iarraidh an t-Earrach a thighinn!

It was cold and icy today, and now it's windy. I want spring to come!

Tha i breagha agus fuar an-diugh. Bha i glè glè glè teth an t-seachdain seo chaidh agus bha mi a' leaghadh. Bidh i blàth am màireach agus bidh i breagha agus fuar fad an t-seachdain. Tha mi sona, airson tha an samhradh seachad agus bha an samhradh glè teth.
It's nice and cool today. It was very, very, very hot last week, and I was melting! It'll be warm tomorrow and then nice and cool for the rest of the week. I'm happy, because summer is over, and this summer was very hot.

Tha agus mise! Tha i gu math soilleir an-diugh, ach ro fhuar airson Màirt an-seo.
Tha cuitheachan sneachda gu leor, agus chan urrain dhomh dad den Earrach fhaireachdainn fhathast!

I do too! It's quite bright now, but too cold for March here.
There heaps of snow and I cannot feel anything of the Spring yet!

Glè mhath, a Raghnaid, cùm ort!

Tha mi fhìn caran fuar, feumaidh mi aideachadh.
I myself am a bit cold, I must admit.

Some spelling:

brèagha
a-màireach
urrainn

Tha an geamhraidh a' tighinn gu crìch anns an Spàinn. Tha deagh shìde ann, tha i grianach is nas blàithe na bha i an-dè gun teagamh! Ach tha mi cinnteach gum faic mi an t-uisge ann dh' aithghearr...

Winter is coming to end in Spain. The weather is good, it's sunny and warmer than yesterday certanly. But I'm sure I'll see the rain soon...

Obh Obh! :naire: Tapadh leibh!

Tha ceist agam airson cuin a' cur chì, faic, faca, seall, amhairc agus na faclan èile... tha sin caran doirbh aig an toiseach, nach e?

I have a doubt about when to put chì, faic, faca, seall, amhairc and the other words... it is a bit difficult in the beginning, no?
