Bha i uabasach fhuar agus sgothach an-diugh. Chan eil an seo! Bha 30c anns Northampton an-diugh, ach tha i a' uisge a-nis.

It was really cold and snowy today. Not here! It was 30c in Northampton today, but now it's raining.

Sgothach means "Cloudy", not snowy.

Càit' an robh e fuar agus sgothach?
Where was it cold and cloudy?

Gu pearsanta, 's e measgachadh de dh'aimsir a th' air a bhith agam ann an dà-riribh. Thill mi bho làithean saora ann an California, 's am measg rudan eile chaidh sinn a Death Valley 's bha e 45C nuair a bha sinn ann. S e seachdainn a-nis bhon a thill sinn a dh'Iuneau 's bha sneachd ùr ann anns na beantainn ceithir tursan an t-seachdainn-sa. Tha muinntir an àite-sa a' gearan gu dubh mun aimsir ann an Juneau.

Personally, I've had a real mix of weather. I just came back from vacation in California. We stopped in Death Valley and it was 45C while we were there. This week, since I came back to Juneau, we've had new snow 4 times in the mountains. People here are really complaining about the weather.

Death Valley is the WORST place to be during the summer, or anytime for that matter. Its just so miserable being there! Its insanely hot!

Bha an t-sìde glè mhath againne ann an Alba dha-rìribh. Cha robh an fìor-uisge ann ach dà latha, agus fhuair mi losgadh na greine, mar a fhuair mi an uiridh! :grian:

The weather was really very good in Scotland. We didn't have any real rain except for two days, and I got a sunburn, like I did last year!
