An do rinn iad a' chùis air an sgioba eile ma-tha?
Did they win then?

Rinn  , du dearbh! Bha sgioban ann às an Òban, à Cinn Tire agus à Earra Ghaidheal Meadhanach. Ach 's e na buadhairean a th'ann am Muile ... mar a dh'fhaodadh Freddie Mercury radh.
Yes, they certainly did. There were teams there from Oban, Kintyre and mid-Argyll. But Mull are the champions ... as Freddie Mercury might have said.

Abair dealbhan sgoinneil, Alasdair!
What terrific photos, Alasdair.

An toiseach feumaidh tu nad Mhac'Ill'Eathainn a dhol, an uair sin feumaidh tu nad cheann-cinnidh a dhol. Chan eil fhios agam dè tha sin a' cosg.

First, you must become a MacLean, then you must become Clan Chief. I don't know how much that costs.

Tha i glè cheòthach an-dràsta ann am Paris, agus tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil i grianach ann am Portagail, mo Portagail àlainn  (Bidh mi ann an Lisboa Dimàirt, airson cola-deug)

It's very foggy now in Paris, and I think it's sunny in Portugal, my beautiful Portugal. (I will be in Lisbon on Tuesday, for 2 weeks.)

mo Phortagail ;)

Cha robh mi ann an Lisboa ach airson ùine glè ghoirid. Bha mi a' fuireach ann an Coimbra nuair a bha mi ann an Portagail. Chòrd e rium glàn, gu h-àraidh an seann bhaile agus an abhainn. Bha e ro theth ormsa uaireannan co-dhiù! Ach bha solas na grèine glè bhrèagha.

I only was in Lisbon for a very short time. I was living in Coimbra when I was in Portugal. I liked it very much, especially the old city and the river. Sometimes, it was too hot for me though! But the sunlight was very beautiful.
