I am cooking lunch. My daughter is having a nap.

Tha mi ag obair anns an oifis a-rithist... :(
I am working in the ofice again.

Bha mo phàrantan pòsda o chionn leth-cheud bliadhna an-dè.
There was a golden wedding of my parents yesterday (chan eil fhios agam ciamar a bhios sin sa' Ghàidhlig).

Bha an fèist mòr ann agus chruinnich mòran den chinneadh is den charaidean againne còmhla.
There was a great celebration and many of our friends and relations came together.

Cha robh e glè fhurasta a chruth-suidheachadh, ach bha a h-uile duine fìor thoilichte. :)
It was not very easy to organize this, but all of us were really glad.

Bha sinn a' cuimhneachadh an ama a dh'fhalbh agus pàrantan mo phàrantan agus pàrantan pàrantan mo phàrantan agus msaa.
We were remembering the past and my parents' parents and the parents of my parents' parents etc.

Tha mi a' bruich greim-neòin. Tha mo nighean a' gabhail norrag. I know "lunch" as lòn or diadhad and I'm not familiar with greim-neòin, but it doesn't mean the tarm doesn't exist. greim-bidhe = snack.

mar as àbhaist airson Dihaoine

Tha mi a' triall / a' siubhal gu Portland an-diugh. a dh'ionnsaigh means "in the direction of", not that you get there

Tha mi a' dol a chluinntinn

ann an Salt Lake City

'S e an t-itealadh mu dheireadh agam an-diugh a th' anns an itealadh seo.

anniversary = cuirm-bhliadhnail - is dòcha gum biodh seo gu feum dhut, a luchag bhochd

Cha robh e glè fhurasta cruth-suidheachadh / cur air dòigh

Tha mi an dòchas gun do chòrd an fhèist riut!
I hope you enjoyed the feast

Bhruich mi dìnnear o hama,  buntàtachan, miùranaiche agus aran is càis an ceartair. Tha mo bean agus mi-fhìn aig aire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy a-nis.

I cooked a dinner of ham, potatoes, carrots and bread and cheese just now. My wife and I are watching Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy now.

Gu mi fhortanach chan eil càil sam bith eile agam ri dhèanamh oir chan eil headphones agam gu èisteachd ri cheòl, bhrist iad.
