It's a big day today! Chemistry! I am very nervous, but I studied chemistry greatly. Chemistry is very difficult.

Beagan ceartachaidh:

'S e latha mòr a th' ann an-diugh! (Check out the Is/tha discussions above)

And I would use ionnsachadh / dèanamh, not 'leughadh', for 'study' here. You're not saying what your subject is, but that you were busy swotting for the exam.

Tha mi a' dèanamh fiosaigs an-nis, agus tha mi a' cluinntinn air pìobaireachd. Is feòlach fiosaigs. If anything, I'm preparing for a war, not an exam.

I am doing physics right now, and I'm listening to piping. Physics is a slaughter.

Also, for the people interested in Scottish history:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ63n_A_0cQ&index=4&list=PLDAC6CC78C5E990DE

A series of documentary videos, summarizing the entire history of Scotland, including some interesting documentaries on the Gaelic language. Enjoy.

Tapadh leat, a Mhairead. Tha mi glè nearbhasach. Tha fiosaigs uabhasach doirbh!
Thanks. I'm very nervous. Physics is terribly difficult.

At this point I fail to understand why I even chose this subject to begin with. I'm running up a cliff. Although I take full responsibility for my failure to choose my subjects wisely, and my incompetence at this terrible subject, it still feels like I'm being tossed about by the misfortune of my fate.
Newtonian physics are not even that hard, free points on the exam as far as that goes. Sadly, there's also Einsteinian relativity and quantum mechanics.

Tha mi air tilleadh air ais às dèidh nan làithean-saora agam. B' ann san Eadailt a bha mi, anns an Ròimh agus ann an Amalfi.
Chunnaic mi eaglais Naomh Phracseid (? Basilica di Santa Prassede) as toigh leam airson na loine bhàrdach seo:
“Saint Praxed’s ever was the Church for peace”
(Browning agus Kipling), oir a rinn mi eadar-theangachadh de na dàin sin gu Ruisis o chionn beagan bhliadhnaichean.

I've returned from my holidays. I was in Italy, in Rome and Amalfi.
I've seen the church of Saint Praxedes, which is dear for me for this poetic line from "The Bishop Orders his Tomb..." (by R.Browning) and "A Ballad of Burial" (by Kipling), because I did the tr*nsl*t**n of those poems in Russian few years ago.

An deuchainn as mhiosa agam. Riamh.

I did a Computational Complexity exam yesterday. It was very bad. Be happy you're not studying computer science! :P

My worst exam ever.

An-diugh tha mi a' gabhail fois. Tha mi ag òl cupa coifaidh agus tha mi ag éisteachd ri podcastan.

Today I'm taking it easy. I'm drinking a cup of coffee and I'm listening to podcasts.

Well, if I don't do well these two weeks I won't be studying anything for a long time.

Bidh mi nas fhaiceallach. OMG, bha mi a' dèanamh fiosaigs glè mhath an-diugh! Bha mi cho nearbhasach, ach tha mi fhathast beò, agus bha deuchainn math! Tha mi toilichte.

I will be more careful (although I didn't actually have 20 coffees). I did physics very well today! I was so nervous, but I am still alive, and the exam was good! I am pleased.
