Dè tha sibh a' dèanamh? Tha mi a' cluinntinn ceòl Ghàidhlig. Chaidh sinn a chuirm ealantais an-diugh. Agus am bheil sibh a' bruidhinn cànanan eile? Tha mi a' bruidhinn Spàinntis. Tha mi air a leugh beagan Seapanais agus beagan Laideann.

What are you all doing? I am listening to Gaelic music. We went to an artistic event today. And do you speak other languages? I speak Spanish. I have also studied a little Japanese and a little Spanish.

Tha mi a' òl leann an-nis, agus tha mi a' cluichd 'Rise of Legends', gèama ro-innleachd. Tha mi a' cuintinn ceòl piobaireachd cuideachd. Tha gaol agam air ceòl piobaireachd. Ceannachaidh mi èileadh a-màireach. Costaidh mi èileadh fad an samhradh.

I speak Dutch and German. I also speak a little Gaelic and know a little Latin. I also speak English, certainly. I am drinking ale right now, and I'm playing rise of legends, a strategy game. I am also listenig to bagpipe music, I love bagpipe music. Tomorrow I will buy a kilt. I will wear a kilt all summer.

Rinn mi bhidio ùr san Ghàidhlig timcheall cunntadh. Seo bhidio.

A Choempa, 's toil leat cànanan gu dearbh. :) 'S toil leamsa cuideachd! Tha Gearmailtis aig mo sheanmhair oir tha i à Ghearmailt. Tha beagan facal agam.

I made a new Gaelic video about counting.

Coempa, you sure like languages. :) Me too! My grandmother speaks German because she is from Germany. I only know a few words.

Is mo chànan màthaireil Duitsis, agus is mise fileantach ann Beurla. 'S e aig an sgoil a bha mi dèanamh Gearmailteach, Ladeann cuideachd. Tha Gàidhlig inntinneach, agus 's e sin carson mi a' dèanamh sin. Bidh mi a' ruith an-diugh leis mo chaomhnach. Feumaidh mi fàs fiot, airson mo chonsart.

Dutch is my mother's tongue, and I'm a fluent speaker of English. (not sure about that phrase in Gaelic). It is at school that I did German, Latin also. Gaelic is interesting, and that's why I do that.
I will go running today with my friend. I need to grow fit for my concert.

Chan eil mi cinnteach; 's dòcha gum b' e "Tha mi air beagan Seapanais agus (beagan) Laideann ionnsachadh":
Tha mi + air + object + verbal noun (leughadh/ionnsachadh etc).
No "Bha mi ag ionnsachadh beagan..."

Costaidh mi èileadh fad an samhradh.
Tha beagan G. agus L. agam (you need not put 'mi' here).
Tha mi ag òl (ag before vowel). Tha mi a' cluich...
Tha mi a' cluinntinn... ach 's dòcha gum biodh na b' fheàrr (maybe it would be better): Tha mi ag èisteachd ri ceòl...
Cost = wear (out), spend, cost; maybe: Bidh mi a' cur èileadh umam... (ach chan eil mi cinnteach).

'S ann aig an sgoil ('s e before a noun or pronoun).

Obh, obh, tha mòran cànannan a bharrachd agaibh na agamsa! Tha nàire orm gu dearbh. :naire: Tha mi air ionnsachadh beagan Laideann agus beagan Fraingis, ach chan urrainn dhomh a bhruidhinn iad. Tha dìreach Beurla agam. :( Chan eil mi tàlanach air cànannan. Ach 's toigh leam iad co-dhiù.

Oh dear, you all have many more languages than me! I am ashamed indeed. I have studied a little Latin and a little French but I can't speak them. I only have English. I'm not gifted with languages. But I like them anyway.

Seo bhidio ùr a rinn mi an-dè! 'S e mi fhìn is mo phiuthar a th'ann a' seinn "An Cluinn Thu Mi, Mo Nighean Donn."

Here's a new video I made yesterday! It's me and my sister singing "Will You Hear Me, My Brown-Haired Girl."

Nach math a rinn sibh! :moladh:
Tha na guthan a' freagairt do chèile gu h-àlainn!
A bheil do phiuthar ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig cuideachd, no an do dh'ionnsaich i an t-òran air chluais?

Didn't you do well! The voices go beautifully together. Is your sister also learning G. or did she learn the song by ear?

Tapadh leat. :) Tha fios aig mo phiuthar air beagan abairtean Gàidhlig, ach 's e sin a h-uile. Dh'ionnsaich i an t-òran air chluais, a mhòrchuid. Bu toigh leam tuilleadh ga teagasg, ach tha sinn gu tric trang.

Thank you. My sister knows a few Gaelic phrases, but that's all. She learned the song mostly by ear. I would like to teach her more but we are often busy.

I just finished booking my trip to Scotland. 2 days ago I decided I wanted to go, and at this point my trip is a fact!

The emotion is sort of overwhelming.

Bidh mi a' dol ann An t-Iuchar, agus tha mi air chèilidh air Glaschu agus Inbhir Nis agus An Gearasdan agus Dùn Èideann.
I will be going in July, and am going to visit Glasgow, Inverness, Fort Williams and Edinburgh.

I found this hotel brochure for Scotland somewhere in my town, and they misspeled the word fàilte as faílte, which is the Irish spelling...

Agus "tha mi a' dol a chèilidh air mo charaid."

'S dòcha gu bheilear a' cleachdadh "tadhal" mu àitichean agus gu bheilear a' cleachdadh "cèilidh" mu daoine. A bheil mi ceart? Chan eil mi cinnteach.

Maybe they use "tadhal" about places and "cèilidh" about persons. Am I right? I'm not sure.

Tha mi 'n dòchas gum bi turas iongantach agad, a Choiseim! :D Anns an t-Iuchar, bidh mise a' dol gu Wyoming...chan e Alba a th'ann, ach tha e glè bhrèagha cuideachd. Tha gaol agam air na beanntannan. Tha beanntannan nas mòtha aig Wyoming na aig Alba, co-dhiù! :priob:

I hope you have a wonderful time, Coiseam! In July, I'll be going to Wyoming...it's not Scotland, but it's very beautiful, too. I love the mountains. Wyoming has bigger mountains than Scotland, in any case!
