Tha mi an dòchas gum tig cuideachd. 's e an aon rud ann diugh na bha an dé.

I hope so also. It's the same thing today than yesterday.

My variants would be:

Tha mi an dòchas cuideachd gun tig _e_.

Tha e a h-aon rud an-diugh 's a bha e an-dè.

A bheil sin ceart?
Is it correct?

Agus bhuannaich na Nàisteantaich.
And the National Party won

An tig e? - Tha mi an dòchas gun tig. This works the same as: A bheil thu gu math? - Tha -> Tha mi an dòchas gu bheil.

Tha e an aon rud - meaning "the same" before a noun, you have an aon rather than a h-aon. Don't ask me why

I think because it's not counting, it's not a noun but an adjective here, and it doesn't really mean a number.
The nearest in English would be 'one and the same'.

a h-aon, a dhà, a trì etc - counting - noun function

aon de na sgoiltean - one of the schools (noun - or pronoun? - usage)

aon rud - one thing (adj.)

an aon rud - the same thing, one and the same thing (adj.)

Eisimpleirean / Examples:

Tha aon rud inntinneach ann, agus 's e.... - there's one interesting thing/fact/point, and it's....

Tha an aon rud agamsa - I have the same thing (

'S e rud inntinneach a th' ann ( gu...) - it's an interesting thing/fact ( that.... )

'S e an aon rud a th' ann - it's the same thing.

By the way, an t-aon = the ace in cards , i.e. regular masculine noun article form.

Nach eil na cànain inntinneach! - Aren't languages interesting! :D

Tha thing that confused me is that it isn't an t-aon rud with a t-. That would make sense when you look at e.g. an t-seann chailleach, seann is also an adjective

Chan eil mòran fhios agam mu dheidhinn nam buadhairean seo: seann, deagh, droch, fìor, sàr, -- ach tha mi a' smaoineachadh nach eil "aon" den bhuidheann aca co-dhiù :)
Cha bhi e ag obrachadh 's a bhios iad ma-thà.
Chan eil an rud seo cho sìmplidh a thuigsinn cia-ta.

I don't know much about these adjectives: seann etc. -- but I think that "aon" is not of their company in any case.
So, it does not work as they do.
This thing is not very simple to undersand though.

Feasgar math!

Bha mi ag obair gus meadhan-latha an diugh agus an dèidh, bha cùrsa na Gàidhlig agam. Agus nuair a bha e ùllamh, dh'ith mi lem dhuine aig taigh-bìdh. Bha sinn a dh'ithe "hamburger" ach b' e am fear as fhèarr.

Good afternoon!

Today, i was working until midday, and after i had a Gaelic course. And when it was finished, i ate with my husband in a restaurant, we were eating an hamburger but it was the best one.

Tha mi air tilleadh an-dràsda as dèidh sia seachdainean ann an Alba. Bha tòrr Ghàidhlig ann agus bha an t-sìde grianach cuid as motha na h-ùine.

I have just returned from six weeks in Scotland. There was lots of Gàidhlig and it was sunny most of the time.
