Bha mi a' coimhead air TBh nas tràithe - Eurovison: Making Your Mind Up. Bha e èibhinn.

A-nis tha mi air Skype a' bruidhinn ri mo chariad.

I watched the TV: Eurovison: Making Your Mind Up. It was funny.

Now i am on Skype talking to my friend.

Obh, obh, Skype! :mc:

Tha mo bhràthair uabhasach hi-tech. Tha e a' fuireach fada air falbh. :(

Thuirt e coig bliadhna air ais: Ma bhios post-dealain agad, sgrìobhaidh mi nas trice!
Fhuair mi post-d. An do sgrìobh e air ais? Cha do sgrìobh. :gulach:

Dà bhliadhna air ais thuirt e: Post -d.? Chan eil tìde agam airson stutha mar sin. Ach ma bhios Skype agad, cuiridh mi fòn thugad!
Fhuair mi Skype. An do chuir e fòn thugam? Cha do chuir. :olc:

Skype? Huh! 8-)

My brother is horribly hi-tech. He lives a long way away.
5 years ago he said: If you get email, I'll write more often.
I got email. Did he write back? No.
2 years ago he said: Email? I've no time for stuff like that. If you get Skype, I'll ring you.
I got Skype. Did he ring me? No.
Skype? Huh.

tha mi air fàs cleachdte ri facal no dhà gearmailtis a chur a-steach nam ghàidhlig oir tha mi eòlach air tòrr duine aig a bheil an dà chànan - ach tha còir agaibh mo chuid gearmailtis a chluintinn, 's e facal gàidhlig a th' ann an gach dàrna fear!

i've become used to putting a german word or two in my gaelic 'cuz i know lots of people with both languages - but you should hear my german, every second word is gaelic

Mar an ceudna tha an abhcaid agam le mo obair Gearmailtis. Cuir mi facalan Gàidhlig ann mo sgrìobhadhan, cho òranan Runrig -'An Toll Dubh' neo 'Dusig mo Run', neo gnothachan cho 'Sabhal Mòr Ostaig' neo 'Glashchu' neo 'Eilean Bòd' (Chan eil mi ag iarrachad mo tidsear aithneachdail cait mo seanair a' fuireach). Dean mi siud le mo obair Frangach mar an ceudna. :D

[/i]I also have a joke with my German work. I put Gaelic words in my writings, like Runrig songs -'An Toll Dubh' or 'Duisg mo Run', or things like 'Sabhal Mòr Ostaig', or 'Glaschu' or 'Eilean Bòd' (I don't want my teacher knowing where my Grandfather lives. I also do this with my French work.
