Bidh. Bidh mi a' ruith na h-uilea oidhche, ach cha bidh mi a' ruith Disatharine.

'S Sin thu fhein? An ruith thu na h-uile oidhche?

Cha ruith. Chan eil mi math air ruith.

No. I'm not good at running.

I would say Ruithidh mi na h-uile oidhche (I run every night) rather than Bidh mi a' ruith... (I am running)

Chanainnsa "a h-uile h-oidhche". Tha mi a' smaoineachadh gum bidh "na h-uile" air a chleachdadh gun ainmear a' leantainn sin, mar eisimpleir "Bha na h-uile ann".

I'd say "a h-uile h-oidhche". I think "na h-uile" is used without a following noun, eg "Everybody was there".

I can't explain the "h-" in h-oidhche, but I've seen the phrase go like this somewhere and it kind of feels better, it's easier to pronounce.

Tha mi air-ais aig an oilthigh an-dèidh sheachdainn obair san tuath gun compiutair agus gun eadar-lìn. Chaidh mi bho obair gu obair fad na miosan seo chaidh, bha mi cho sgith nach do tàinig mi do FNG seo aon uair. Tòisichidh clasaichean air seachainn, s'docha gum b'urrainn dhomh compairt a ghabhal san fhòram tric gu leor. Duilich mur eil a'Ghàidhlig 'am cho math ri abhaisteach, tha mi cleachdte ri a cleachdadh nas abhaistaiche na seo.

Thug mi a-mach an sgudal agus an-dràsda tha mi a' nigheadh aodachan mun dol dhan leabaidh. Tha e a' fàs anmoch an-seo agus feumaidh me dùisg tràth a-màireach. 'S fheàrr leam a' dol ruith mun éirigh na gréine nuair a bidh i fionnar gu leòr fhathast. Bidh i fàs ro theth fad an latha airson mi a ruith as deidh éirigh na gréine.

Agus tha na damaid "mosquitoes" a' cuir craichte orm! :olc:

I took the trash out and right now I'm washing clothes before going to bed. It's getting late here and I need to get up early tomorrow. I want to go running before sunrise when it will still be cool enough. It's been getting too hot during the day for me to run after sunrise.

And the damned mosquitoes are driving me crazy!

Uill, chaidh mi a' ruith 'sa mhadainn agus a-nise tha mo lurgainn goirt. :mhoire: :? Taing a tha ann airson ibuprofen.

Bidh an clas agam aig AGA tòiseachadh 28mh dhen t-Sultain agus tha mi a' feuchainn a dheasachadh le a' toirt sùil air ais aig a h-ule rud a tha mi air ionnsachadh gu seo. Obh obh, 's cus a tha ann. Ach tha mi ag iarraidh obair cruaidh am bliadhna air chor 's gun téid agam air toirt an Cùrsa Adhartais aig SMO an ath bhliadhna. Tha mi 'n dòchas gun téid agam air tòiseachadh le Modal 5 neo mar sin, ach chì sinn, chì sinn. :? (Feumaidh mi a' cuimhne riaghlailtean GhOC a cheachdadh! Ann an Canada--far a tha AGA ann-- chan eil iad a' leantainn GOC ach na riaghailtean Chomhairle na Gàidhlig ann an Albainn Naudh. 'S e sin a lean mise. :priob: )

'S tha an t-acras agam tholladh. Cha do dh'ithe mi bracaist idir agus mar sin, feumaidh mi dh'ithe dìnneir dh'aithgherr. Saoil mi gun deasachaidh mi bonnach-uighe 's isbeanan. Chan eil móran eile agam aig an taighe co-dhiù.

Well, I went running this morning and now my shins hurt. Thanks be for ibuprofen.

My class at AGA will start September 28 and I am trying to get ready by reviewing everything I've been learning so far. Jesus, it's a lot of stuff. But I want to work hard this year so that I can take the Cùrsa Adhartais at SMO next year. I am hoping that I can start at Module 5 or around that, but we'll see. (I will have to remember to use GOC rules! In Canada, where AGA is located, they aren't following GOC but the rules put out by the Gaelic Council of Nova Scotia. That's what I follow.)

And I'm starving. I didn't eat any breakfast and so now I'll need to eat lunch pretty soon. I think I'll make an omelet with sausages. I don't have much else at the house anyhow.

Tha mi deiseil am broinn a' fhionnaradair a ghlanadh an-dràsd'. Bha rud breun, grod a-muigh ann. Chan eil mi cinnteach dé bha e ach tha am fàileadh air fàg.

I just now finished cleaning the inside of the refrigerator. There was something rotten inside. I'm not sure what it was, but the smell has gone.
