Does one say lus a' CHROM-chinn or lus a' chrom-CHINN?

If there’s a hyphen, that indicates the stress shifts to the second word.

Slow down :priob: crom + cinn is not a compound noun, it's a noun with a prefixed adjective (like deagh-cheann) and those usually have equal stress or stress on the adjective i.e. /Lus ə 'xrɔumçiNʲ/ with stress on CHROM
