Gaelic on Twitter

Twitter can be useful as well as being a 'chatter' site! I began posting wee Tweets in Gaelic for fun initially, about 6 months or so ago,and linked them to downloadable podcasts on my website and folk really seem to enjoy them - because tweets are no longer than 140 characters, they are easily retainable and I use phrases which folk actually want to be able to use. There's actually quite a lot of Gaelic on Twitter these days.

It's getting easier for learners to tackle or supplement daily practice via bite-sized portions, e.g. Fiona's site , or (phrases, proverbs etc with pronunciation) (useful words, phrases and expressions with pronunciation) (specialist vocab)
