TAIC #6 Question

Unread post by EowynAnduin »

I am going through TAIC lesson 6. In the exercise we are to go from English to Gàidhlig. Did I do this correctly? Is their answer a different way to move from one language to the other? (not using the "t" word" whenever possible)

3. Brown hair is very beautiful? <-- English to move to Gàidhlig
A bheil falt donn glè bhòidheach? <-- What I did
Tha falt donn glè bhòidheach? <-- The answer on the same page

Tapadh leat

Kim :)

Here's the lesson:

I think the question-mark is a typo. It's a statement in both languages as far as grammar is concerned.

There are other typos in TAIC; but in fact remarkably few given the size of the work and the fact that it's one person's work, and free.

Thank you very much. I am very appreciative of the work that has been done and still doing to put these sites together. They are a wealth of information...

Sites = Fòram na Gàidhlig, TAIC, Am Faclair Beag, Akerbeltz :) to name a few...

Tha fhios agam gu bheil dearmad an siud 's an seo fhathast. Taing don luchd-chleachdaidh gheur-shùileach a tha gan comharrachadh dhomh.

I know there are still some typos. Thanks to those eagle-eyed users who point them out to me.
