Habitual future

Hi,

Is there any sort of rule or usage guideline as to when to use the simple future to express regular occurrence and when to use the future continuous? E.g.

Thèid mi dhan chlas Ghàidhlig gach oidhche Chìadain / Bidh mi a' dol dhan chlas Ghàidhlig gach oidhche Chìadain.
Chì mi Iain a h-uile là / Bidh mi a' faicinn Iain a h-uile là.
Eirichidh mi mu shia uairean gach madainn / Bidh mi ag èirigh mu shia uairean gach madainn.
Eirichidh mi mu shia uairean sa mhadainn / Bidh mi ag èirigh mu shia uairean sa mhadainn.

If you would say "I will be going..." etc. in English, then use the future continuous. Also, when you're focusing on the moment.

For everything else, use the simple future.

Not that historically, the simple future was the present tense, so it is also used often when you would use the present tense in English, or when you're expressing the ability to do something (I can see him = Chì mi e).
