Chan eil mi a' dèanamh rud sam bith eile a-nochd oir tha mi dìreach ro sgìth. Bha mi a' dèanamh dealabhan sgàilein-shìoda fad an latha ann an seòmar teth, agus tha mo dhruim goirt a-nis. Bidh mi glè thrang gus Diluain fhathast, nuair a bhios an cùrsa seo crìochnaichte. As-dèidh an sin, tha mi a' smaoinieachadh gum bu toil leam a bhith nam cadal car seachdain. No dhà.
I'm not doing anything else tonight because I'm just too tired. I've been making screenprints all day in a hot room and I've got a sore back now. I'm going to be really busy up until Monday still, when this course finishes. After that, I think I'd like to sleep for a week. Or two.

Tha mi mar cheist air dè an ath leabhar a dh'fheuchas mi ri leughadh ann an Gàidhlig. Tha mi beagan leisg nuair a tha mi a' leughadh agus cha toil leam a bhith a' rannsachadh cus fhacal san fhaclair. Sgeulachdan goirid 's dòcha... ?
I am wondering what is the next book I will try to read in Gaelic. I am a bit lazy when I am reading and I don't like looking up too many words in the dictionary. Short stories maybe...?

'S dòcha gum bi an t-sreath Lasag iomchaidh dhut.
Maybe the Lasag series will be OK for you.

Tha mi a' leughadh (air?) San Dùthaich Ùir le Alison Laing an-dràsta. Chaidh e a' sgrìobhadh airson luchd-ionnsachaidh (chan eil e airson luchd-tòiseachaidh ge-tà) agus tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil e glè mhath. 'S e caibideilean glè ghoirid a th' ann agus tha geàrr-iomradh sa' Bheurla ann aig an toiseach agus tha faclair beag ann an ceann gach tè. Tha mi a' creidsinn gun tàinig e a-mach mus robh an t-sreath 'Lasag' ann, ach tha mi meadhanach cinnteach gu bheil e coltach riutha.
I'm reading San Dùthaich Ùir (In the New Country) by Alison Lang just now. It was written for learners (not for absolute beginners though) and I think it's pretty good. It's got very short chapters and there's a summary in English at the beginning and mini dictionary at the end of each one. I believe it came out before the Lasag series, but I'm pretty sure it's similar to them.

Tha fios agam a-nis dè an leabhar a bhios mi a' leughadh ann an aithghearrachd! 'S e an aon fhoillsichear a th' ann gu dearbh. Tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil iad coltach ri chèile cuideachd.
I know now which book I will be reading soon! It is the same publisher indeed. I think they are similar too.
Tha mi a' feuchainn ri briosgaidean a dhèanamh an-dràsta. 'S ann anns an àimhainn a tha iad.
I am trying to make biscuits just now. They are in the oven.

Bidh sinn a' togail oirnn a dh'Arainn a-màireach sa campervan againn 'son beagan saor-làithean. Chan eil dùil agam air deag-shìde, ach 's coma leam. The mi dìreach toilichte a bhith criothnaichte an cùrsa agam a-nis.
Am bidh sibh fhèin a' dol àite sam bith 'son saor-là am-bliadhna?
We're off to Arran tomorrow in the campervan for a wee holiday. I don't expect good weather, but I don't care. I'm just happy to be done with my course now.
Will you be going anywhere for a holiday this year?

Tha mi a' leughadh doesn't need air
Chaidh a sgrìobhadh
'S e caibideilean glè ghoirid a th' annta. I think it would be better to say -> Tha caibideilean ghlè ghoirid aige, Tha na caibideilean aige glè ghoirid.
sa Bheurla doesn't need the ': sa Bheurla, anns a' Bheurla
"Saoilidh mi" is better than "Tha mi a' smaoineachadh" when expressing an opinion - you're not sitting down busy thinking right now...
sa champervan
The mi dìreach toilichte gu bheil mi deiseil leis a' chùrsa agam / gun do chrìochnaich mi an cùrsa agam a-nis.

Bha mi ann an ospadal dà mhios bhon t-siathamh latha den Mhàrt gus an t-siathamh latha den Chèitean.
Chan eil fios 'am ciamar a chanar "pancreatonecrosis" sa Ghàidhlig, ach b' e an galar sin a bha orm.
Taing a Dhia, tha mi beò agus an ìre mhath ann an deagh shlàinte an-dràsta, ged a tha mi lag fhathast.
I was in hospital 2 months, from 6th of March to 6th of May.
I do not know how to say "pancreatonecrosis" in Gaelic, but I had this disease.
Thanks Lord, I'm alive and in almost good health now, though I am still weak.

Mòran taing, a Ghunchleoc!
Bha mi ag ionndrainn mo charaidean san fhòram seo cuideachd.
I missed my friends in this forum too.
Tha amharas agam gu bheil "brisgean-milis" a' ciallachadh biadh (sweetbread) a-mhàin. Chan eil mi cinnteach ge-tà.
I suspect that "brisgean-milis" means only food (sweetbread). I'm not certain though.

I am terribly sorry to hear that! What a shock!
