In Celtic Spain , Arcobriga may be airc brigha "peak pitch/ power".
Welsh bri, dignity, rank, Cornish bry, Breton bri, respect, *brîga, *brîgo-. Spanish brigand.
"Pitch : A level of the intensity of something, especially a high level".
Latin arcanus "secret, hidden, concealed," from arcere "to close up, enclose, contain," from arca"chest, box, place for safe-keeping," from PIE root *ark- "to hold, contain, guard" source also of Greek arkos "defense," arkein "to ward off" .
This guy from west of Arcobriga has a peaked hat.
https://www4.uwm.edu/celtic/ekeltoi/vol ... 07_200.gif

and this is a peak from Arcobriga:

https://www.google.com/search?q=arcobri ... qc-jRH7soM:

" Iberian script, BRIGANT_N (or PRIKANT_N, as Iberic script does not distinguish voiced and unvoiced consonants) inscribed on a Celtiberian coin, of a Celtiberian goddess."_ Garret Olmstead.
Brigantia is a goddess in Scotland and England , holding a globe . In Lebor Gabála Érenn, Breogán founded Brigantia tower for his son Íth who glimpses Ireland to invade and settle it. This may be the origin of round towers.

On the Arcobriga vase , the top tree in the peak may be a mòr darach . How would you express the sense of arcobriga?

"The goddess Mylitta (Mesopotamia) or Astarte (Phoenicia) was represented by a female date palm. Astarte (Greek: Ἀστάρτη, Astártē) is the Hellenized form of the Middle Eastern goddess Astoreth (Northwest Semitic), a form of Ishtar (East Semitic)." Mithra god is shown in 2 carvings as a palm tree . Stylised palm trees are shown to the side of the Ishtar gate Babylon.

so this may be a palm tree , between the lions.

Here are the terms maha daru in connection with rituals .

https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/o ... 2015-04-14
In the search for the sacred tree for making new idols, his tree, called Maha Daru (sacred timber) .

https://www.telegraphindia.com/india/da ... id/1476468
But I have never seen the mahadaru of Lord Jagannath like this before.

This may be connected with Scottish-Irish traditions of clootie trees , mòr darach . Possibly it developed into banners and flags . A symbol of Brittany is the galoche wooden shoe. The reference to Celts may be linked with Fr. galon braid , galloon ( (ornamental strip). galonner to trim, ornament with braid.
Possibly it extends to galant elegant , man of honour. Old French galie, galee boat, warship, galley, from Medieval Latin galea or Catalan galea, from Late Greek galea, of unknown origin.
Sanskrit / Avestan bramaniya means to worship . Bram in the Baltic-sea ports means high timber-beam, stately clothing and top-gallant mast . Ship top-gallants carry admirals' flags. Ships have a bridge and certainly a mast gives the ship peak power.

There seems to be information in the south. Old Java language Indonesia has mahā (Skt) great . dāru (Skt) piece of wood, wood, timber.
Darug language ( Sydney Australia): darangara cabbage tree palm .( ngara listen , think). To the south at Wollongong:
"Dharawal people brought the dharawal (cabbage tree palm) with them from the north and are given their name from this sacred tree. https://www.wollongongcentral.com.au/ce ... al-country
Old Javanese -wala In compounds "all kinds of, in every respect” . Dharawal trees had many applications for Aboriginal cultures.

Hindi , Urdu दरख़्त darakht tree. वाला wālā eminent, respectable . Gujarat daruwala a dealer in palm-wine.

Makara is a Hindu crocodile beast of Capricorn stars for summer re-birth . Skt kadhi is ocean. Old Java kadiwas is ocean fish , so kadimarkara may mean "salt water crocodile".

"Aboriginal people in the area believed it was the body of a Dreaming Ancestor called Kadimarkara who
died and turned into stone." It was found at salty Lake Eyre .
https://www.samuseum.sa.gov.au/Upload/f ... -notes.pdf
. "This legend professes to account for the origin of the fossilised marsupials and other creatures which are found in several places in the Lake Eyre district, South Australia, and also for that of the mound springs which are so marked a feature of that part of Australia. These fossils are called by the tribes-people Kadimarkara, creatures which in the Mura-mura times descended from the sky-country to the earth, by means of great trees which grew on the eastern shores of Lake Eyre, and supported the sky. " Native Tribes of South-East Australia. Howitt. 826,827.

Old Java makara (Skt a kind of sea-monster, sometimes confounded with the crocodile, represented as
an ornament on gates)
3. (Skt) the 10th sign of the zodiac (Capricorn)
4. sculpture in makara shape on buildings (temple, bathing-place etc), often serving as waterspout.

In Nepal "as guardian of gateways, the makara (crocodile beast) image appears on the curved prongs of the vast crossed-vajra ..supports the whole structure of the mandala palace symbolizing the immovable stability of the vajra-ground on which it stands."
It is likely that the Arcobriga vase represents such sky-trees . Then the Brigantia pillars may be that also.

Bryges or Briges of Balkans were related to the Phrygians of western Anatolia and occupied central Albania and Macedonia. Possibly it's from IE bʰerǵʰ cognate with Celtic Brigantes meaning "high, elevated, illustrious".

The Scordisci consolidated into a tribal state. At their zenith, their territory stretched over parts of present-day Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania . Breuci were Illyrians of the subtribe of Pannonians of Hungary, Serbia, Croatia . By the early 3rd century BC, Pannonia had been Celtiziced. The Celts, retreating from Delphi (280–278 BC), settled in Serbia Croatia and called themselves Scordisci. The Scordisci were possibly named from Šar Mountains in the Balkans from Macedonia to Albania, known as Scardus, Scodrus, or Scordus .

Hungary roughly corresponds to the Pannonian plain. During the Iron Age, it was at the boundary of Celtic, Illyrian and Scythian cultures. This compares with Arbroath Declaration and with Brigantia of Scotland. Scythians in the Iron age controlled Ukraine , south Afghanistan and Punjab India. They reached Indonesia and sold horses to Cambodia which makes a great Scythia. " ..journeyed from Greater Scythia by way of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Pillars of Hercules, and dwelt for a long course of time in Spain among the most savage peoples, ".

"The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests , Beijing, has four inner, twelve middle and twelve outer pillars, representing the four seasons, twelve months and twelve traditional Chinese hours respectively. Combined together, the twelve middle and twelve outer pillars represent the traditional solar terms. All the buildings within the Temple have special dark blue roof tiles, representing the Heaven. There are four main supportive, dragon pillars each representing a season. The structure, held up by these dragons, imitates the style of an ancient Chinese royal palace.

Earth was represented by a square and Heaven by a circle; several features of the temple complex symbolize the connection of Heaven and Earth, of circle and square. The whole temple complex is surrounded by two cordons of walls; the outer wall has a taller, semi-circular northern end, representing Heaven, and a shorter, rectangular southern end, representing the Earth. Both the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar are round, each standing on a square yard, again representing Heaven and Earth.

In the early Buddhist cave temples made in the latter half of the fifth century a.d., during the Northern Wei dynasty, at Yim-kang, in the Shansi Province of North China, can be found several carvings of a curious creature connected with the arches over a seated Buddha figure. It occurs at either end of the arch, the end merging into the hinder part of the creature, which is left with two legs, a long neck, and head.
